Louis XIII Remy Martin supporting visionary artists



Renowned designer Christophe Pillet and photographer Matthew Rolston have launched these limited edition Remy Martin products.

Both were launched with support from Remy Martin Louis XIII following as part of their program to support visionary artists such as Louis Bourgeoise (art) and Dror (architecture).

used to work with Philippe Starck and has been called his protege. Christophe has worked with some of the best brands in the world including Zanotta, La Coste, Cappellini, Catherine Malandrino and Driade.

In his design collaboration with Remy Martin, Christophe Pillet designed a contemporary set to accompany Louis XIII that pays homage to the heritage and artistry of Louis XIII.



Matthew Rolston was discovered by Andy Warhol at an early age to shoot for Interview Magazine, and has shot iconic covers for numerous publications including Rolling Stone and Harper’s Bazaar.

The new book , called “beautyLIGHT” (published by teNeues), showcases some of Matthew Rolston’s best photographs from the past 20 years including those of Selma Hayek, Charlize Theron, Bjork, Bob Dylan, Christina Ricci and Julianne Moore.

Besides the standard book ($75), there’s also a Collectors’ Edition (limited to 600 copies) with a signed print for $2500. Both books can be bought online at Teneues.com.

Each artist in this program by Louis XIII has shown the same passion, vision and genius that goes into making each bottle of Louis XIII which is the top cognac from Remy Martin. Louis XIII is made from 1200 different "eaux de vie" (fermented and distilled grape juice from Grande Champagne region in Cognac) aged anywhere between 40-100 years and perfectly blended that go into making each bottle of Louis XIII. The Louis XIII you drink now was blended in 1960 with eaux de vie that had already aged for over 40 years before that. Louis XIII’s legendary and extremely rare cognac Black Pearl – only 358 decanters of Black Pearl Magnum, handcrafted by Baccarat, were made available each at $8000.
